Check out our New York & Los Angeles Ticket Giveaways!

March 1, 2012

The Actors Fund is incredibly fortunate to be part of a community that regularly — and so generously — gives its time and talent to support those in need. And sometimes our partners are even a little more generous…and work with us so we can give away a few free tickets to some of our wonderfully dedicated supporters and fans. We just so happen to have two of these challenges currently underway, both of which wrap next week!

First up is for an exiting Los Angeles event: We’ve partnered with the folks at Grey’s Anatomy in a Twitter giveaway, the winner of which will receive two free tickets for the upcoming Actors Fund benefit, Grey’s Anatomy: The Songs Beneath the Show. Head on over to our website to read the rules, then get tweeting until March 6th at 11:59pm! You could join us on March 18th at UCLA’s Royce Hall, for a one-night-only event featuring some of Grey’s cast, including Jessica Capshaw, Justin Chambers, Eric Dane, Sarah Drew, Kevin McKidd, Sandra Oh, Jim Pickens, Jr., Sara Ramirez, Kim Raver and Chandra Wilson! (And you can still buy tickets here!)

In New York, the always fabulous Phyllis Newman is helping us give away two tickets to this year’s Nothing Like A Dame, the always-amazing benefit to support The Fund’s Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative (PNWHI). Harkening back to her popular appearances on the much-loved game show What’s My Line?, she’s given us some hints as to one of the evenings special guests…and we want you to play along! Check our Nothing Like A Dame — What’s My Line? Reality TV Challenge page for details on how to enter — we’ll be dropping hints on Facebook throughout the next week, and when you think you know who it is, shoot us your entry by March 6th at 11:59pm — you could be joining us on March 26th at NYC’s Gerald Lynch Theatre! (You can also purchase tickets here.)

And in honor of Ms. Newman’s many What’s My Line? appearances, we thought we’d share a few of our favorites…

An episode featuring Lauren Bacall, who appeared in DAME 2003:

Another with the fabulous diva Leontyne Price:

And finally… Ol’ Blue Eyes:
